Junior Product Owner

Leading digital performance agency seeks a talented tech-savvy communicator

A product without an owner is like a house without an architect. Instead of a well-thought out, organized home, you could end up with a toilet in the living room and a staircase that leads to nowhere. At DAC Group we have big plans for our range of proprietary products, which is why we need someone who, as key stakeholder, can take ownership of communicating vision and objectives to the Product Team, coordinating the Product Roadmap, and managing cross-functional teams to make sure our big ideas are executed as flawlessly as possible. If you’re an expert product strategist with a background in coding or developing in a Business Analyst or Project Management related capacity, you might be exactly what we’re looking for — so get in touch.

What you get:

  • The opportunity to shape the future—yours and ours—at a well-established and fast-growing digital performance marketing agency with offices across the US, Canada and Europe.
  • A role in which you get to liaise with a number of different departments, learning how a new product travels from conception to completion, honing your organization skills along the way
  • A modern, recently renovated working environment in Toronto, complete with free parking, collaborative spaces, ping-pong table, treadmill desks, in-building gym and easy access to public transit (three-minute walk to Leslie Subway Station)
  • Free breakfast and snacks every day, as well as pizza and birthday cake once a month. Never leave the office hungry again!

What we get:

  • A strong communicator with the ability to collaborate with technical and product marketing teams to translate product visions and strategies into user stories for the Product Teams to implement while also working with project managers to determine scope and plan timelines.
  • A natural leader who can multi-task, manage multiple projects, and keep up with constantly shifting priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • An organized team player to coordinate feature releases, including User Acceptance Testing, documentation, training rollout sequencing and client communication
  • Someone to create and update the Product Roadmap, keeping track of product backlog, troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions and options for dealing with challenges along the way
  • A Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) would be considered a plus.

What we want:

It’s really very simple: we want to know what makes you special. Send us an application that showcases your talent – and your personality – and shows us how you would thrive in our unique agency environment.
