Display Media Specialist

The Display Media Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the delivery and performance of display campaigns for the agency’s clients on self-serve and ad serving platforms. This position will report directly to the Display Media Manager and will be located in our Toronto office. This role collaborates with a number of cross-functional teams and external vendor partners.

Responsibilities

  • Become a DAC Subject Matter Expert on display ad operations 
  • Identify and coordinate campaign trafficking and launch requirements
  • Plan and execute ad trafficking process from beginning (inputs) to end (launch)
  • Perform QA and testing pre- and post-campaign launch 
  • Review campaign performance utilizing Analytics and self-serve platforms, and identify opportunities for campaign optimization
  • Develop weekly/monthly client-facing reports, including qualitative and quantitative data, and recommendations to improve performance
  • Troubleshoot campaign trafficking issues as they arise
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendor partners 
  • Participate as the display ad operations SME for internal and client-facing meetings as required 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in math, marketing, advertising, or business administration 
  • 1-3 years' experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • 1-3 years' experience in ad operations, display advertising on advertiser, publisher or   agency side
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to audiences of various sizes
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, organized; ability to manage time effectively
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and eager to master new software applications and platforms
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 

Nice to Have:

  • 1-3 years' experience in ad serving and self-serve advertising platforms, including but not limited to DFA, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, DBM, RTB platforms, Adobe SiteCatalyst, Adobe Media Optimizer
  • Knowledge of display tactics, mobile marketing, display ad trafficking/serving
